The Electricity Tokens module integrates directly with ZESA and compatible prepaid utility APIs to generate valid KCTTS-compliant tokens at the point of sale. Tokens are delivered instantly via SMS and printed receipt, while every transaction is logged against the customer's meter number for a complete audit trail. Agents can reprint a token at any time without contacting head office.

Daily reconciliation against the utility settlement statement is automated. Any mismatch between vended value and settled value is flagged immediately.
Offline Resilience
If the utility API is temporarily unavailable, the module queues the request and retries automatically — alerting the agent on the outcome without requiring manual follow-up.
